The band No Angels was the first German castingshow band. They are the winners of the first season of Popstars, a castingshow which was aired on ProSieben in the year 2000 for the first time.
Due to the big attention and the high viewing figures of the new format the members of No Angels became well known all over Europe. They are still the most successfull girlgroup in Europe, with more than five million sold records and four number one singles
After the break up in 2004 the No Angels tried to start a comeback in 2007. Only four of them, because hotty Vanessa Petru did not want to be part of the reunion. This turned out to be the right decision as it was a big flop. A few month later Jessica Wahls left the band too.
It took seven more years, till Sandy Moelling and Lucy Diakovska left the No Angels. At least some of the former members did a hot Playboy nude shooting.
