She began her career as a child actress in telenovelas such as María Belén (2001) and Amy, the Girl with the Blue Schoolbag (2004). As a recording artist, she released several albums, including Danna Paola (2012), Sie7e+ (2020), and K.O. (2021), achieving commercial success in Latin pop. International audiences know her for playing Lucrecia Montesinos in the Netflix series Élite (2018–2020). She has also appeared on stage in the Spanish production of Wicked, portraying Elphaba.
