Francesca Piccinini, born January 10, 1979, in Massa, Italy, is a retired Italian volleyball player. She played as an outside hitter and was a key member of the Italian national team. With Italy, she won the 2002 World Championship and multiple European Championships. At the club level, she won several CEV Champions League titles, primarily with Volley Bergamo. Piccinini retired in 2019 but briefly returned in 2021 before ending her career for good. She is considered one of Italy’s greatest volleyball players.
