Qiyu Zhou, born on January 6, 2000, also known as Nemo Zhou and by her online alias akaNemsko, is a Chinese-born Canadian chess player holding the titles Woman Grandmaster (WGM) and FIDE Master (FM). She began playing chess at age three, won the under-14 girls’ World Youth Championship in 2014, and became the first Canadian woman to earn the WGM title. Zhou has also represented Canada at multiple Women’s Chess Olympiads and is a popular Twitch streamer.
