Taraneh Alidoosti (Persian: ترانه عليدوستی, born 1984) is an Iranian actress. She is best known internationally for her role in The Salesman (2016), which won the Best Foreign Language Film Award at the 89th Academy Awards. She has received various accolades, including a Crystal Simorgh, an Iran Cinema Celebration Award and an Iran's Film Critics and Writers Association Award. She is also known for starring in The Beautiful City (2003), Fireworks Wednesday (2006), About Elly (2009), Shahrzad (2015–2018).

Alidoosti is also a feminist. She posted a photo of herself on Instagram in November 2022 without her Islamic headscarf and carrying a banner that said "Women, Life, Freedom" to indicate her support for the Mahsa Amini protests. On Saturday 17 December 2022 , she was arrested by the authorities and taken to the notorious Evin prison.
